As part of a group that own and operate their own crematoria, we are here to help make arranging a funeral simpler, removing unnecessary costs and complications.
From £1,490 our direct cremation package includes a Cremation Experience Associate who is dedicated to overseeing all aspects of the cremation day at an award-winning state of the art crematoria.

Direct Cremation:
Essentials Plan
- It covers all the essentials needed for a basic direct cremation.
- There is no ceremony, no attendees, we just arrange a simple direct-cremation.
- This option is ideal for people who don’t like funerals or people who do not want a fuss.

Affordable Funerals provide direct cremations, cremations with a funeral service and pre-paid funeral plans across England, Scotland and Wales. We are proud to be a part of the Memoria group who are one of the largest number of privately owned crematoria in the UK.
We’re one of the leading providers of direct cremations in England, Scotland and Wales. Our service includes the collection of your loved one and the cremation will take place at one of our privately owned crematoria where we have facilities available in both England, Scotland and Wales. The ashes will be available to collect or we can send them anywhere in the UK via our own private courier for which an additional cost will be incurred.
Unlike many other providers, we do not have tiered rates. Urgent funerals start from £1,095 and £1,490 for a pre-paid funeral plan.

This is because it is not only commercially sensible to do so but also because it is an essential act of human decency towards people who have just lost a much-loved member of their family or friend.
Bereavement is the price we must all pay for the joy of loving and being loved. The loss of a loved one is the most stressful, unhappy and traumatic experience that we will face in life. We at Memoria realise that we are unable to eradicate such pain but we also know it is our responsibility and duty to be as efficient, kind, respectful and polite as humanly possible to our clients at their time of grief, and thereafter when they return to remember their cherished relatives or friends.
Therefore it is our aim to provide immaculately clean and tidy facilities in tranquil and beautiful surroundings attended by people who are sincerely dedicated to our mission, and who take a great pride in their work as a result.”
